Fallon, the former SNL cast member turned host of the "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" show, has a musical routine which kicks off with NBC Primetime News anchor, Brian Williams, running down the headlines of the day. It leads into Fallon's own jazzy and lyrical version of the news to conclude with The Roots musical crescendo. Roots front man Tariq 'Black Thought' Trotter's then makes a final, rhyming conclusion. Last night, President Obama surprised the crowd at the UNC campusâ€"where Fallon and company are filming "Late Night Show"â€"and stepped out from behind the curtain to take Williams's spot and read through his own set of headlines. They were fashioned around student loans and the "Buffet Tax". While the "Slow Jam" ! did have its fair share of political punches, the tone was surrounded by more humor than punditry.

Jimi Hendrix Little Wing Guitar Lesson Part 2 of 3

Jimi Hendrix Little Wing Guitar Lesson Part 2 of 3
- www.guitarBreakdown.com Jimi Hendrix Little Wing Guitar Lesson Part 2 of 3 What needs to be said ... it's Hendrix ... It's Little Wing ... It's a free guitar lesson But seriously ... At some point in every guitar players journey ... we all dedicate hours to trying to learn from this master. Unfortunately a lot of guitar players these days don't get to learning from the man who started it all until years after exploring the current guitar heros that fill their ipods. But eventually everyone makes their way back to Jimi. He's influenced everyone in one way or another and continues to be a great source of education to all levels of musicians. One of the most often overlooked aspects of guitar playing ... is rhythm guitar. Licks and solos are fun but rhythm playing is at the heart of at least 80% of what is played most of the time in band situations (unless you're steve vai). And to put this long description to rest ... you need not look much further then Jimi Hendrix in your ! quest to learn how to strum chords. So Hope you enjoy this lesson. Again ... help us out by letting us know if you guys are digging this stuff by clicking "like" on this video (if you like it) and/or comment to let us know how we're doing and if you are interested in us continuing to bring you free lessons. Also subscribing helps us a bunch ... it really lets us know you want us to keep bringing this stuff to you. And if you want more of this type of stuff (more traditional guitar riffs ... more 80's ...
